The book accompanies Momentum of Memory, which brings together artist’s videos, a large-scale wall relief and an iron cage filled with wooden letters. The publication of the exhibition features an essay by Beral Madra, focusing on how the memories can contribute crucially to the interpretation of histories. Time not only permeates every word spoken; it also robs the historian of sources with every passing day. Published in four languages and designed by Vahit Tuna, the book provides a visual documentation of the exhibition through installation photographs, comprehensive details and video stills of the works in the exhibition.
